Introduction: Vice Chair Jihee Yoon
Hi everyone!
I'm Jihee, one of your vice chairs for WHO, and I'm very excited to meet you all in a few weeks at BMUN LXX!
A little about myself – I am a Socal native from Irvine, CA. This is my eighth year in Model UN, and as a past participle of BMUN conferences in high school myself, I understand the tremendous time and effort that you will be dedicating and wish to make it the most meaningful and memorable experience possible. Personally, MUN has been one of those programs that pushed me to think beyond the horizon and dare to dream, and I hope this conference can provoke inspiration in you all to promote positive change and achieve your aspirations.
Now, I am a senior finishing up my last semester as a Statistics and Data Science double major, and I like to spend my time doing water sports at the Marina and also with the Christian community on campus. Upon graduation, I will be growing my domain as a data scientist and plan to apply my technical knowledge in the global health field.
I look forward to a thought provoking, wonderful time as we move into discussion on the COVID pandemic response and climate change. Please don't hesitate to reach me if you have any questions or concerns. I am glad to be a resource!
Can't wait to meet you all.
Jihee
